EFutures unveils MD corporate web site

Sri Lanka 's leading exporter of natural fruit juices and fruits, Lanka Canneries Limited, recently launched their corporate web site. The web site can be accessed on www.lankacanneries.com .

Lanka Canneries products go under the brand name "MD", a factor that makes them mindful of maintenance of the highest standards in hygiene and quality. Some of MD's high quality products include regular jams, low sugar jams, diabetic jams, syrups, canned vegetables, treacles, cordials, chutneys, pickles and sauces. All of these products can be viewed on the Company's website, where detailed descriptions are given of each product item. It also includes a facility where the user can view enlarged versions of each product image.

Lanka Canneries Limited is the successor to the Marketing Department that was established by a British Civil Servant named Mr. R.H. Basset in the late 1930's. As detailed in the "Company History" section of the web site, a fter the Second World War, Marketing Department progressively improved the fruit processing facilities at its factory in Narahenpita, Colombo by importing machinery from the UK , USA & Europe. The Company began exporting in the 1980's and today exports their products to over 30 countries including the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Japan, Australia and the Middle East.

The website was designed and developed by EFutures (Pvt) Ltd.
